Welcome to Brown Study & Wool Gathering.
This is a space for deep thought, gathered fragments, lived experiences, and the quiet reflections that often arrive in the ordinary moments of life. I write about faith, family and caregiving, grief, healing, memory and the meaning hidden inside everyday things.
The tile is personal. Brown Study honors my family name and also reflects a lifelong habit of thinking deeply, noticing details, and turning ideas over in my mind. Wool Gathering speaks to the collection of moments, observations, questions, and small truths that shape a life. Here, I want to gather those things with honesty and offer them ibn a way that is thoughtful hopeful and true.
More than anything, this blog is meant to point back to God – His faithfulness, His presence, and His ability to redeem even the most tangled parts of a story.
I am Patty Ann Brown, and I’m glad that you’re here.
